Permanent magnets are the most common type of magnet. They are useful for a wide range of purposes. These magnets produce an invisible magnetic field. They are able to attract other magnets and pull ferromagnetic materials like metal and glass. Moreover, they can be used to tack up signs and other metallic objects. The most notable property of these magnets is that they attract other magnets. This is because they have a strong magnetic attraction force. Permanent magnets made from Alnico are made according to a special recipe. These magnets contain a certain percentage of each metal. These magnets are melted in an induction furnace at temperatures over 1750oC. Extra aluminium is then added to the final product, which melts at a lower temperature than the other metals.
